Favorite thing about running
I have been very fortunate to spend the last year in Tulsa, OK. A city with a great running community and a lot of fun races. I originally began this year with the goal of a marathon. I then decided I was going to do 3, but that changed pretty quickly. My first planned marathon didn't happen due to sickness the day before. I laid in bed that weekend rather furious that I didn't get to go do it. My 2nd marathon was a joy until I got injured around mile 17. I still finished walking the last 9 miles. My greatest running inspirations are some of the people I run with. The people who went from not being able to run 100 yards without stopping, but now can run a marathon, or go out and do a 15k in less than 2 hours now. To me that will be more impressive than 100 ultramarathons or a Boston Qualifying time.
