Favorite thing about running
I love the solitude of running and of having control over my body. Even as I get older and those "great run" days are farther apart, just one of those days can keep me chasing that feeling day after day.

Favorite Running Memory
State Championship 3200m duel with Jerry Brown (future college roommate). Jerry tried passing me 7 times in the race, once on each straight and I just keep chanting "I want it more than him".
