My Shoes
I try not to use the same pair/style of shoes on consecutive days. The hallway is currently littered with: Nike Frees (One pair of the much superior old style, and one pair of new style that I had to buy because the old pair now have a unique and strong smell). Asics Gel Kayanos Asics Gel D9 Racer V1 -- for fast training and longer races (ie 10k -- it's long to me!) Nike Mayfly - these are the 4.8oz jobbies that are3 only supposed to last 100k; I use them for miles, 5ks and the odd 10k if I am feeling adventurous. Adidas Supernova Cushion -- for those training days when I am feeling feeble and in need of "protection". LA Sportiva Slingshots --love these shoes -- they are light and firm and make me feel fast. They are also red and yellow, which makes a nice change from the usual "black or gray, sir?" choice. Puma High Streets -- minimal shoes for when my Achilles tendons feel good and I remember I am Pose Method trained. Velocy Veloz 101s -- on test -- see my review. Nike Pegasus Clima Fit -- waterproof-ish trail shoes for when it's really wet out.
Where I've Raced and Traveled
Spain, France, all over Great Britain, but so far only Colorado in the US.
