Favorite thing about running
It is fun and gratifying to run fast on the track. It's great to keep moving and stay relatively alive and healthy as one ages.
Favorite Destination
indoor national masters track and field championships, outdoor national masters track and field championships, carlsbad 5k
My Shoes
On the track a blazing fast shoe is the Nike Zoom Miler spike, which I don't wear anymore due to achilles tendonitis correlation. I've one time worn a Nike 400m spike shoe which is metallic gold and gaudy looking. Very sprinter. For everyday running I like any narrow width neutral shoe.
Races Won or Placed
It depends on who shows up at the national masters championship races. Good placings were for 1 mile (4th, 5th), 1500 (4th, 5th), 800 (2nd, 3rd). On the other hand my 2 fastest 800 times didn't make the finals at nationals and my fastest 1500 was 2nd to last place.
