My favorite running site is a trail in Blowing Rock, NC. It's just a 5 mile loop, but I like the terrain and the hills. Trail running is preferable to me because I can always convince myself to "run to the next tree." :) My second favorite place to run is on the treadmill at a local college gym. There are no mirrors in the gym--who the hell thought up the idea to put mirrors in the gym in the first place?!--and my treadmill (yes, it's mine; if I could write my name on it, then I would) is directly in front of the window, so I can stare and zone out.
