I love to run for fitness, to clear my mind, and to make me feel better about myself. It's also a great opportunity to meet new people and make like-minded friends.

I love to run the Pacific Northwest, Japan, and some place here in the southwest. Give me a good trail or rural road that winds through some beautiful scenery and I'll be happy. I'm not too excited about the routes that the Phoenix Metro area has to offer, for the most part, but I enjoy some of the parks, the greenbelt up here in Scottsdale, and some of the canals that SRP maintains. My favorite race is the San Diego Marathon.

Asics. Right now I'm sporting some Asics DS Trainer XIIs, some Kayano XIIs, and Gel Trabuco trail shoes.

Throughout Asia and North America mostly. I love running the trails in central Japan, Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia.

I've run a lot of races but I usually only place in smaller races here in the valley.

Don't run faster than your ability.
