Opening charge of the West End 3k

Men's field powers up the opening slope of the West End 3k on Boulder's Pearl Street. Note the Japanese runners, their race done, poised at the side of the road to scream on their coach/manager. Read all about it in "Coach to wife: 'Is he all right?'" here. (Picture: Abby Daniel)

West End 3k: coach to wife: 'Is he all right?'

Posted by simon on 7/28/2007 on simon's blog
Hiding in the group, secoind time up the hill.

That was the "big" question after the West End 3k on Thursday night.

Well, not so much big, as just irritating and getting to the verge of boring, really.

It's not that I'm not running OK; it's just that I'm running indifferently.
