Who would you like to see sponsor YourRunning.com?

Posted by steve outing on 4/23/2007 on steve outing's blog
Whose message belongs on YourMTB.com?

So here's a funny question:

What companies would you like to see sponsor YourRunning.com, give away prizes, etc.?

I ask because:

1. We need to attract additional sponsors to fund the operation of YourRunning.com.

2. Since you are a running super-enthusiast (why else would you be reading this website?!), you may have connections to running-related companies that would value reaching out to the YourRunning.com community.

Wise man once said: "I love it when a plan comes together"

It would be great to have access to their van up at the North Pole...

OK, maybe he wasn’t a “wise” man in the classic sense, but relative to the company he kept, he was quite the thinker. Part of what is making this journey to the North Pole so interesting is the logistical exercise of researching and collecting the appropriate gear, physically getting to Longyearbyen when no flights out of the States hook up neatly with flights from Oslo to Longyearbyen – and then there’s the training for the marathon itself (which at this point is the least of my worries – I’ll be ready as ever to run if I can manage the TRUE challenge of getting myself to the starting line!)
