Dean Karnazes is at it again.

Having successfully become not the first man to do 50 marathons in 50 days, he's now going to run across the US.

Karno has a lot of fans; personally I can't see what the fuss is about. But you've got to admire his publicity machine. There are plenty of "ordinary" runners who match his performances -- or better them -- without ever getting on Oprah.

The non-running public thinks he is some kind of superman, much to the annoyance of the ultra-runners and fast marathoners who are routinely producing Karno-style epics only to be completely ignoted by the media.
