Polar Princess – Mind Map

Posted by Jill Salva on 1/30/2007 on Jill Salva's blog

QUOTE OF THE DAY
‘These instant judgments are related to intuition. This ability to quickly grasp the essence of a situation – whether it involves meeting someone new, selecting a television program or surfing the Internet – comes from that higher part of the Indigo Child’s mind that’s involved with intuition.
Many Indigo Children are “holographic learners.” When someone is talking, the Indigo Child “scans” the other person and receives their information, like a computer file being downloaded. The Indigo child must then wait for the person to stop talking about the information that has already been downloaded and digested.’

Lance to run the Mile

Posted by simon on 12/14/2006 on simon's blog

Word on the grapevine is that Lance Armstrong is to run the Mile.

No, he hasn't signed up with the Sub-5 Program -- but we're working on it!

We hear that Lance is going to target the Main Street Mile in Boise, Idaho, a race which raises funds for prostate cancer. We wonder if the decision has anything to do with "King of the Mile" Hicham El Guerrouj, who was one of Lance's pacers in his recent marathon?

The Main Street Mile, held at the end of June, is part of the Downtown Mile Race Series; the individual winner of the Men’s and Women’s open wave, as well as the individual winner of the Men’s and Women’s masters wave, win expenses-paid trips to Boulder, CO, to run the Pearl Street Mile.
