Posted by simon on 7/16/2007 on simon's blog 75 degrees and humid.... did a comfortable 40:58, wasn't even breathing hard for the first 5k; then picked it up -- my head was tingling by the end. 101st in a field of 10,000 and, as far as I can tell, I won the age group -- but they have not organized the results in a way that I can confirm that. Splits: 6:24, 6:41, 6:41, 6:31, 6:37, 6:09, 5:28 (pace) last .2m. Sore throat (still sound like Roger Moore), used glycerine. | |
