Polar Princess - Coyote Tale

G’day – G’Saturday!

TRAINING – Coyote Tale
6.6 miles of trail running today…..in the freshies. Waking to a gloomy sky and big puffy snowflakes I procrastinated my run until early afternoon. At which point the sky cleared and the sun came out.

Enroute to the trailhead I encountered a coyote. He was moving quickly – then suddenly stopped, turned, and looked directly at me. Coyote often comes to me – he is the keeper of wisdom and folly. Coyote teaches us not to take ourselves so seriously and that anything is possible.

During my run I mulled over coyote and what he was teaching me. Then, while heading back home – I was pleasantly surprised to see this coyote AGAIN – he was running along my left side in the direction of my house – then he stopped and looked directly at me.
