I earned my turkey this year

I'm pretty happy to have run my longest race to date, a 4.5-miler on Thanksgiving morning, called the Drumstick Dash.  I finished in 48:13, slightly slower than what I was hoping for... but I had a cold.  Anyway, I really had a blast, and Thanksgiving dinner tasted so much sweeter!
