Why should we pick you to go to the North Pole?:
I love to travel. I'm trying to run all 50 states and then all continents.
Offer some evidence that you can complete a marathon in harsh, sub-zero conditions at the North Pole:
I have never actually run in snow but did do Pikes Peak last August. Am willing to train in snow if needed.
Tell us about your cold-weather race experience:
I live in north Florida but a noreaster here is worse than subzero temps in Minnesota according to people from there at the Goofy Challenge in Orlando in January 2006 when it was quite cold, windy and humid.
Tell us about your marathon experience, including times, results, etc.:
I have run 16 marathons. My best time is 4:16. My longest marathon was Pikes Peak. I ran it in 8 1/2 hours. However, I made it to the top in 4:50 so the elevation was no problem for me.

What do you expect your North Pole Marathon time to be?:
8 1/2
Can you write well? Explain:
My best friend is the head of public relations for the Florida Bar. She would love to help me with my blog, website etc.
Tell us about your media experience:
That would not be a problem. I always carry a camera during my marathons and have several photo albums devoted to my running. I would be more than happy to submit those reports.
