Brad Feld and YourRunning are giving away an entry to the North Pole Marathon! Here's who has applied to run.

"I love to run races that most folks are afraid of."

Frederick Mueller

Goose Creek, South Carolina

Running Experience:
Advanced

Why should we pick you to go to the North Pole?:
Because you can and I really want you too. I have never won any race and more than likely never will. I am the average runner. I run and love to share my love of running with anyone who will listen my wife and friends have stopped. Why not give this outstanding opportunity to someone who will talk about this and how great it was forever and not some pro type who has done it all.

Offer some evidence that you can complete a marathon in harsh, sub-zero conditions at the North Pole:
I have never DFN and as long as I can still move. I have run around 20 Marathons and 10 Ultras with my first 100 being the Rocky on 3 Feb. My best time is 3:59:02 and my worst was helping a friend do his first last weekend at Disney of 6:10:54 so I know I can do the North Pole when selected if I DFNed I would pay it all back 100% that is how sure I am I will finish and I will put that in writing!

Tell us about your cold-weather race experience:
I am in the Air Force and was stationed in Alaska and North Dakota. I started running in Alaska and ran year round. I did not get in to marathon and beyond races until I was stationed in North Carolina and now South Carolina so I have no Marathon in below zero until you select me for this.

Tell us about your marathon experience, including times, results, etc.:
I have ran only 20 or so. Two back to back Richmond and the OBX in Nov. My best was 3:59:02 in Austin. I love to run races that most folks are afraid of. Like I said no DFN or going over time limits.

What do you expect your North Pole Marathon time to be?:
8-9 Hours

Can you write well? Explain:
I would share every sweet memory of a normal guy who loves to run. I would post so much folks would get tired of reading it.

Tell us about your media experience:
If Rosie can get on the View with her experience; then I can and will do well with mine. I can love to talk and look good on video! I have never writing anything that has been in print or on TV. That what you have to power to change.
