Posted by Jetfuelburner on 4/23/2007 ![]() About 14 miles into the Burning River 100 course....this is the widest stream crossing in the first 18 miles...I think stream crossings are one of my favorite parts of trail running! Makes me feel like a little kid just charging through.. | |

I am new and haven't introduced myself yet....
But, I have this event as a future goal. It looks as fabulous as I envision. I am originally from the area and feel I will come kinda full circle. I just finished my first ever marathon and hope to make the Burning River my first Ultra!
Run until you puke!

Stephanie, I just got off the phone with a good friend of mine, and we are going to work together to take a photo on the course every .5 miles. Him with the GPS and me with the camera. We will do 10-15 miles at a clip, which is our normal training run distance. Also, as you know, they only have the first 64 miles or so defined, but they should have the last 36 done by the time we get to it....As we photo and post them, I will make it available on here of course as well.
