Mine was earlier this year... the first Saturday in May. It was the Finish Line 500 Festival 5K, downtown Indy. It's run at the same time as the more famous 500 Mini-Marathon. Anyway, I had a blast, finishing in about 35:30.

It was interesting running with 3,500 other people... quite different than a 5K I did, later in May, in Wisconsin with 50 people.

i know what you mean, the edinburgh run had 10000 racers, it was just so 'comforting' to be running in the middle of that, also a little earrie! i don't know whether you noticed this during your race but i found that once everybody had found their rhythm it became weirdly silent, only for the sound of 10000pairs of feet pounding the pavement, bizarre. well, congrats on finishing the race in a very respectable time and for doing more, my goal was just to finish the 10k and i think my time was 48mins which i was quite proud of. nice speaking to you
