Runner, Musician, Tech Guy says "Hello from San Francisco!"

What's going on everybody?

I just joined the site and am happy to be here.

I am a hobbyist runner and musician. I've been running for about 5 years and love to run to music, but I got frustrated with the lack of choice of music that worked well with running. After making my own songs for my wife and I to run to for years, this past July I turned that into a business called Hella Sound (www.HellaSound.com).

We offer high-intensity, 30 minute songs available at a variety of beats per minute (BPM) to match your stride rate.

HellaSound.com also features fitness, gear and music information in the blog section, and I will shortly be adding featured expert interviews and posts from a variety of personal trainers, sports physiologists and running coaches. I'm really excited!

I mentioned I'm a tech guy, and I have become quite a fan of Twitter. Do you Twitter? If so, hit me up--I'm (surprise surprise!) hellasound.

ALSO, since I'm such a big fan of Twitter, I have just recently rolled out a new site feature called GoRun = Twitter + Runners--it allows runners to post personal bests, workouts, links to their running blog, or anything else they want that's running related to the site. In essence, it makes the site a real-time view inside runner's minds. I'm stoked to see what people do with it! Check it out here if you're interested: www.HellaSound.com/GoRun

Other than all that, my next race is the first half of the San Francisco Marathon this august. This'll be my longest race to date, and it should be a lot of fun. Unfortunately, i've been sidelined for a couple weeks for medical reasons, but I'll be hitting the road again starting Sunday.

Like I said, I'm happy to be here, and I look forward to meeting fellow runners.

Thanks!
