![]() Posted by noob_runner on 7/20/2007 Hey all, Having recently completed my 6th race, I have two questions about bib numbers. 1. Do you keep your bib numbers? I have been keeping mine, and I have been thinking about writing my times down on the back, and maybe the name and date of the race, if it's not already on the bib. Just wondered what ya'll's thoughts were... | |

Good idea. I only keep the ones from races I do particularly well in, and I don't write on them but just pin 'em on my bathroom wall to inspire me when I'm getting myself ready for the next race.

I have all of my bib numbers. They are just in my drawer, I always think I'll write things on them......But every now and then I'll pull them out and think "wow I did that race and felt great".

"1. Do you keep your bib numbers?"
Yes and no. I always keep them for a while. Sometimes I find an old bib number and I can't remember the race, so I throw it away.
"2. If so, do your write on them? Like date, name of race, and time?"
Yes and no. I have a lot of bibs that I wrote everything about the race on the back, but I haven't written anything on a bib in a long time. I guess that's mainly because the old ones are just lying around. I haven't figured out what I want to do with them.
I also don't need the written record so much any more because I've gotten into the habit of putting it all into a computer.
I have a friend who has a nice scrapbook. I wish I could get that organizized.
