La Jolla, San Diego running event

There is an event in La Jolla called, the CoastwiseMile. This scenic course travels along Prospect Street through the historic La Jolla Village to Coast Blvd before a spectacular ocean view finish at Ellen Browning Scripps Park! There are different races for age group, there is a stroller division for the mothers, races for the kids, a mutt race which you can bring you dog to run in, and even a corporate relay. It's actually coming up in October 4th and it should be a lot of fun. Registration is already posted. Benefits from the races are going to the SD Humane Society and the Scripps Park Project.
