I'm new!

Posted by jwillis on 7/11/2007

Hey my name is Joe and I really enjoy running for leisure and staying in good shape. I enjoy it a lot more if i have some sweet music to listen to and just hit the road and jog for a while. Since you're reading this, I'm kinda curious who all listens to music, and if so, what type/band(s)do you listen to? Ok, thx and i'll talk to ya'll later.

Depends on the run and my mood for the day. For a tempo run I'll do Chemical Bros. or Crystal Meth (not to be confused with the illegal substance). For a long run I might do something instrumental like theme music to epic type movies like Gladiator or Star Wars or my all time favorite, Pirates of Caribbean 2 soundtrack. But mostly I like to be free of wires and listen to my surroundings and thoughts. But, whatever gets you out the door is what you should listen to! Welcome to the site :)

The Crystal Method that's way out there...

I sometimes like to do books on tape and stuff, but I haven't run with my ipod in like 2 months.

it varies on my mood, if it's before a race, i'll listen to hard rock like metallica which helps, and after doing good, tom petty helps fill it in
