Give us the Top Ten "must dos" for runners in your area

Yoherb started this by "admitting" that after 20 years in Boulder he had only just got around to running the Bolder Boulder 10k and the Mesa Trail, another local "must do".
His blog on that is here.

That encouraged me to come up with 10 more "must do" activities for anyone in Boulder.

What are the "must dos" for runners in your town? Let us know.

Here's my Boulder Top Ten again:

1) Run a Dash & Dine 5k
2) Run Sanitas the hard way
3) Run with the Boulder Trail Runners
4) Get a treatment from Mark Plaatjes and try not to cry
(In Motion Rehabilitation: 2775 Pearl St, Ste 201, Boulder 80302, (303) 247-0687 -- the clinic is above the Boulder Running Company store
5) Hang out in the Boulder Running Company and Fleet Feet Boulder and see how many elites you spot.
6) Run at least one event in the Boulder Race Series (for pure suffering in good company, may I recommend the Uni Hill 2k?). All the relevant websites for this series seem to have disappeared while the City of Boulder re-thinks the events).
7) Race a distance you are totally unsuited to at one of the Boulder Road Runners summer track meets at Potts Field
8) Treat yourself to an individual coaching session with your choice of the many world-class coaches and elite athletes based here.
9) Run the entire Boulder Creek path (7-8 miles one way) when the creek is full-on and bubbling and...
10)...soak your legs in the creek when you're done!

* Let's hear from you guys in other locations (or even Boulder!).... what are the "Must-dos" for visiting runners?

Littlemamalopez's top 10 to do list for the South Bay area of LA....(remember that I've only lived here for 2 years so I'm hardly the expert)

10. Run the strand (cement boardwalk that runs from Redondo Beach to Santa Monica - over 15 miles).
9. Run the beach spotting dolphins and seals playing in the surf.
8. Run Veteren's Park (a 3 mile trail that winds through Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach.
7. Shopp at the Village Runner.
6. Run the hills in Palos Verdes and visit Trump's golf course as a treat.
5. Redondo Beach Superbowl 10K/5K (costume optional).
4. Hermosa Beach 5000 (completed by the spectacular beer garden - what's an event in Hermosa without alcohol anyway?)
3. City of Angels 1/2 Marathon
2. Join the LA Leggers who meet every Saturday at the Santa Monica Senior Center.
1. Run the LA Marathon!
