flat foot problem

Posted by pgrawl on 2/18/2008

I know that this site is mostly for running but I wasn't sure if anyone else had this same problem when doing other activities.  I need to get new molded cleats for the upcoming softball season, but the cleats i usually use make my feet sore after every game, because of my flat feet, i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what brand and type of cleat to get.... thanks.

P.S. the brooks adreniline 8 are awesome for ppl with flat feet and running I don't run outside i do it on a treadmill but it works wonders, other that a little pricey typically $90, worth every penny tho.

I play a lot of football and baseball and also have flat feet and have the same problem as you. When I was at the shoe store I accidentally tried on what I thought were football cleats but were in fact Lacrosse cleats. They fit great and was wide so they felt great when I was trying trying it on. After using them on a couple of games I didnt have that same sore foot like I usually do with my regular football cleats. The ones I got were Under Armor brand. Check it out maybe you will like it.
