The one piece of equipment I'm missing for my North Pole outfit is the absolute best pair of cold weather running tights on the market. They would be used as a base layer for my legs (obviously)..Any recommendations? Please post a link to a place to get them if you can!

Hi Bobby, I wear the CW-X Insulator Expert Tights for a base layer when running in cold weather. If the weather is above a wind chill of 10F, then I wear them on their own, but if it's below that, I'll put on another pair of tights over them. I like the targeted webbing on the expert series because of my knee (it's sprained), but there's a pro series, as well.
Here's the link to the insulator line: http://cw-x.com/ss/products/mens/m_insulated.

Hi Bobby, Just another vote for the CW-X Insulator Tights. I have them and this winter in NYC, I stayed warm with just a pair of thin tights (stockings) underneath. I made it through a run a few weeks ago when (little did I know) it was around -10 degrees below zero with the windchill... Needless to say, I had icicles on my eyelashes (you have goggles for the NP, right?!) but my legs didn't freeze. I think the Pro series would be best given the projected temps, if you choose to go with these ones.

The webbing is great too. A nice, comfortable fit overall.
11 days and counting (down)! Best of luck. We'll be cheering for you.
