Deena Kastor has won the U.S. Olympic Trials- Women’s Marathon in 2:29:34.
Magdalena Lewy Boulet finished a strong second in 2:30:18, while Blake Russell was third in 2:32:40. Those three women will represent the U.S. in the Beijing Olympics in August.

Lewy Boulet is hanging on gamely but Deena has picked it up significantly in the last few miles and should win this race convincingly. Blake Russell is still hanging on to third, [...]

With about 4 miles to go, Deena Kastor has closed the gap to about 30 seconds on Magdalena Lewy Boulet while Blake Russell has lengthened her lead in the battle for third place. Kastor has over a minute on Russell, who has a 23 second cushion for the last Olympic berth.
