Mmmh! The 10k 40min barrier eludes me yet again :(

Oh well! Weather wise I could not have asked for more.
8am start! Light drizzle and overcast.
I had planned 10weeks earlier for this race with the view of braking 40mins for 10k.

The course was 97% perfect with very few hills a few turns.
Also I had the added incentive that I needed to get back home quick to watch the Triathlon World Champinships which also started at 8am

But alas I trailed home in a pityful 42:30.

OK so what went wrong? I can sum that up in 3 works LACK OF MOTIVATION.
