Cruise memorial 5k:Good race today-glad I decided to stick with the 5k this time around. It was very warm out, and I know this course well. Next year, 10 k course :) My time was pretty good, considering I slow down at the hilly end- esp. the one leading to the finish. I was very tempted to walk it, but Gil, Sue and another great chick was there encouraging me! Gil even ran a little of it with me, lol! He said, "27 minutes is staring at you in the face!" so if it wasn't for them, I might have walked more to the finish! Of course, being that it is this race, in honor of Tradition, Dawn Threw Up.But I was still happy :) Run: 27m 36s 3.10 miles 8.90 miles/hr
