YourRunning.com enthusiast-in-chief Simon Martin's body has been through a variety of assaults in the past few weeks.
First there was the exhuastion that left him too weak to run. There was the cold that left him eating enough to hibernate a bear. And then, in a terrifying twist to this string of bodily beatings, Simon was actually attacked by a body snatcher. Not only did this body snatcher steal Simon's human form...but it also ran like crap with it!
With a reacquired body and a reputation to rebuild (damned body snatcher!), Simon hit the Federal Center in Lakewood for the Blockbuster 5k armed with inspiration from Floyd Landis. The result? A win! Or so he thought; but still pretty darn close.
Find out why there's no such thing as over-training and more in Simon's blog: Run Time.

It's the YourRunning user blog action - where just fifteen letters separate "blogging" from "running your personal best." That's no coincidence.
The day finally came for YourRunning.com's Fit from Fat blogger Jetfuelburner: his first 100 mile race. Check out the fantastic write-up of his extraordinary day. As 50x50 blogger Brad recovered from the San Francisco Marathon in various places around the country, Dave Albo reported back from the National Masters Championships. Speaking of races, loads of pictures and write ups are popping up from the Wild West Relay in Colorado. Cselland's new training plan hasn't completely transformed him into a long-distance lover, but it's helping. And much like FDR did for America, weltal327 is doing for himself with his New Deal.
Just another week in the runniest blogs served on the Internet!
Last weekend, YourRunning.com sent editorial and community manager Neal Young to the big (seriously, BIG) Outdoor Retailer trade show in Salt Lake City.
Strapped with a camera and fueled by endless amounts of free coffee, he roamed the show floor for four days shooting daily summaries of what went down. Be sure to check out all the products, people, dogs, "yoga," beer, death defying stunts and shenanigans here!
