It was another bloggerific week of discovery for YourRunning.com's enthusiast-in-chief Simon Martin. After hearing about its positive effects on other YourRunning community members, Simon gave the official British approval of "Brilliant!" to the "Albo Antidote": YourRunner Dave Albo's answer to feeling tired, sick, or wimpy. He then sought the proof in the pudding by trying the 10 x 200m miracle run himself. The verdict? Please, sir, can I have some more?
Simon then passed on dismal news from this year's Comrades Marathon in South Africa: in what can only be described as tragically bittersweet, 34-year-old Michael Gordon beat the race's notoriously strict cut-off time when his fellow runners carried his dying body across the finish line.
Get all the details, and more, in Simon's blog: Run Time.
(Psst! Post your profile pictures! We can't include you in Noobs if you don't have one.)

YourRunning.com's North Poler Bobby Bostic started the week off thinking. After recovering from that pain, he came up with an interesting blog question: what would a portfolio of stocks look like that consisted only of companies that are directly (or indirectly) running-related? While littlemamalopez dealt with finding an energy answer to her South Beach Diet answer, weltal327 accomplished his own half marathon race goal. According to Grace W, we all just need more P.M.S. to improve our running; Michael J. Keenan suggests trying a little MP3 as well. And while Brad's running this week reminded him of his 20s, another Boulder resident, Secondtear is trying to harness that same feeling.
That's just a scoop of the blog writing on YourRunning.com - get the whole sundae!
