Posted by Jetfuelburner on 12/4/2007 on Jetfuelburner's blog Fit From Fat as a "Zombie" On the weekend I become a "Zombie Runner" I will be a Zombie Runner. Wow, that probably doesn't make much sense. Let me explain as briefly as possible. First off, my book is now listed on ZombieRunner.com, which means more to me than Amazon, because they are specific to our sport. They sell all kinds of running necessities and cool stuff for the running community. The gentleman I dealt with there is Don Charles Lundell, whose photographs I have been admiring for over a year since I got into ultras. He has a site just for his photography at Don Charles Lundell Photography. It just kind of makes me feel cool to have a book on ZombieRunner.com, and if that makes me a jerk for admitting it, then so be it. They listed my book at: and did a link to my blog as well! How cool of them! Now, the rest of the title of this post; I have a marathon tomorrow morning in Bloomington, IN - a 6 hour drive - and am just now getting home from my daughter's basketball practice. I have to do a few things, and get my butt to bed. Things not to forget for tomorrow: Tights That is about it! I have to get to the race around 730 (I will leave here at 130 am - yikes!!!) to check in and take the one hour bus ride from the finish line to the start (it is a point to point race.) The race actually starts at 10 am so I won't be done until sometime between 3-4 pm and home by this time tomorrow night, unless I stop to sleep somewhere. I will surely be a Zombie on the drive home, if not during the run! But, hey, it's life, let's live it! This is what I chose to do. | |
