This run was a combination of a Recover run, Tempo run and Hill workout all wrapped up into a 2 mile run. Stats: Start: 6:26am, End: 6:45:48, Pace/mile= 9:54.
It was a recovery run, because of lower mileage - he he. While most of the effort was doing tempos, there was some hills involved as well. I did something that I only recently started doing and that is when I did the tempo, I ran at full power for as long as I could. I used to keep it down a bit, but, with a race on Saturday, I thought I'd juice it up a bit. I am changing some of my running views. I never before allowed myself to run the day before a race, and if I did, it was just a little. I am going to do what ever comes to mind and treat the day before as any other running day except, that I won't do a long run on that day. Not sure what will happen here, but, hey live and learn. The race on Saturday is a 5k race (June 16th @ 8:00am)
